Aberdeen-Angus
Intended for the production of superior meat, this breed of cattle has its origins in the North East of Scotland, where its improvement began about 200 years ago. Today Angus is being created almost everywhere in the world, to highlight the United States, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Australia, New Zealand and Europe.
Being a breed of high quality cattle, its use extends to crosses, once it conveys its famous ease of calving and reproduction, as well as its color and the specialty of being an owl. It is also known for its robustness, its easy handling and the extraordinary adaptation to the diverse climatic and environmental conditions.
One of its exceptional characteristics being the ability of a good accumulation and distribution of fat in intermuscular tissue, it also guarantees resistance, for example, in periods of drought. Her good nature, precocity, fertility, and maternal ability complete the picture of a distinct race. These animals have always possessed strong qualities for the production of quality: good temperament, medium structure, ease of maintenance of body condition and excellent quality of “grain”, tenderness, flavor and succulence of their meat.
